What the difference between Acetal Copolymer and Dupont Delrin in Sheet and Rods

Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is the perfect plastic for turning on a lathe lathe. It’s pretty easy to turn, but it requires slower speeds. I have used this material to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have ordered numerous items from a plastic shop in Anaheim. Small pieces usually ship promptly and everything was well packed. I have never had a problem with an order.
Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are incredibly tough and easily machinable, and they have comparable physical properties. They look similar, but in practical uses there are a few differences that may make one better than the other. It also depends heavily on your application. As with any plastic materials, make sure to check the typical properties data sheet for the applicable properties you may need for your application.
